Quick Fettuccine Alfredo
This is a quick and delicious Fettuccine Alfredo recipe that your whole family is sure to love.
Ingredients:
- 10oz fresh fettuccine or tagliatelle pasta
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmigiano Reggiano
- 1 cup heavy cream, lightly whipped
- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter
- salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Directions:
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook pasta. Add ground pepper.If your pasta is fresh, it only needs about 2 minutes to cook, so prepare accordingly.
- In a large pan over low heat, melt butter.
- Slow add the lightly whipped cream to the butter and stir.
- Slowly add grated Parmesan cheese while stirring
- Drain the pasta, and add to pan.
- Mix everything together and serve
